During 2020, while in Year 10, Tara students Sienna, Mia and Evelyn entered a national competition, the Environmental Impact Challenge.
They designed their Eco-Vat product to recycle household water while simultaneously generating hydroelectricity to increase sustainability.
Their device aims to revolutionise the utilisation of water resources in everyday households in order to reduce water usage and lower C02 emissions.
In an exciting development they were invited to present their project on Sunrise who filmed the segment at Tara.
