Congratulations to Ava (Year 1), Alice (Year 3) and Scarlett (Year 6) from Tara Junior School, on their achievements in the NESA WriteOn competition for 2020. Ava received a Bronze award for Stage 1, Alice a Silver for Stage 2 and Scarlett a Bronze for Stage 3.
Students in Years 1-6 had the opportunity to participate in an enrichment event through NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) with the 2020 WriteOn Competition.
WriteOn provides students with the opportunity to become published authors in NESA’s ‘Best of WriteOn’ Anthologies.
Young writers enter based on their school Stage: Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2), Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4), Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6). NESA recognises six writers across NSW from each Stage. Tara girls have been successful in achieving Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in their categories over the years.
