"Singing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Music has helped me to express myself and I take great pride in being able to help our young girls discover their singing voice and inner guiding voice.
Over the course of the past two years, I have helped Tara to update and grow the music program. This has been achieved through adding another ensemble to our strings program and investing in new instruments.
Delivering music lessons during the remote learning period provided Tara girls with a unique platform to showcase their learning. It was a celebration of their creativity and has added strength to future units of work.
An unforgettable career achievement has been introducing a special international project called Singing Playgrounds to primary school students in Malaysia. The project helped students foster an environment of teamwork and leadership through singing and playing.
The Junior School will continue to encourage artistic expression through Visual Art, Drama and Music. Together, we will provide both active and reflective experiences to help students make connections and changes that go beyond the classroom."
