Last week, Tara Senior School celebrated Wellbeing Week! Year 10 Student Representatives organised the week as a way of assisting students through the challenges during assessment period. The girls organised an activity each day to help with the wellbeing at Tara.
On Monday, the girls focused on ways to foster wellbeing. Each girl in the Senior School was given a handball to write their name and something that makes them happy or a way that they improve their wellbeing. Each day, a ball was drawn, and the winner received a self-care package!
On Tuesday, the girls held a Tug of War competition between students and staff! All the girls had the best time participating in their year groups and cheering everyone on.
Wednesday was active Wednesday and all the girls in Senior School had the chance to participate in Just Dance. This focused on all the girls getting up and being active as a way of improving their mental health.
Thursday was Thankful Thursday which focused on putting things in perspective and recognising the things we are grateful for. Senior girls wrote down something or someone they appreciate and put it on the Tara Thankful tree.
Friday was Connection Friday and CRU ran a variety of games that allowed the students to get to know each other on a deeper level, improving the connection between the girls in the School.
Overall, the week was a fantastic time for all the girls to come together and focus on their wellbeing!
