We were thrilled to welcome back Tara Alumni Brittanie Gambrill, Class of 2005, for an inspiring visit last term!
Brittanie shared her incredible journey and expertise in the world of fashion and design with our Year 12 Design and Technology students.
During her time at Tara, Brittanie delved into a diverse range of creative subjects, including design and technology, visual arts, and visual design. Her passion for design led her to the prestigious University of the Arts London College, Central Saint Martins, where she completed a Foundation in Fashion and an Honours Degree in Graphic Design.
In London, Brittanie worked as a set designer, collaborating with renowned fashion, music, and editorial clients. In 2014 she began working as an intern at The Magnet Agency and worked her way up to become a Junior Agent. By 2019, she became Partner where she works closely with set designers, lighting, styling, and other creative professionals from esteemed brands and publications.
During her visit, Brittanie shared insights from her time as a Tara student and provided valuable guidance to our Year 12 students. She offered advice on building impressive portfolios and navigating the university application process.
Brittanie also shared her personal journey into the industry and her experiences within it, shedding light on the path that led her to where she is today. Her story deeply resonated with our girls, providing a glimpse into the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Brittanie for her inspirational visit!
