Tara Rowing recently celebrated an exciting milestone with the official boat naming ceremony of our newest coxed four.
This special occasion, held over the weekend, marked the addition to our growing fleet—an investment in the future of our rowing program and the dedicated students who make it thrive.
In a heartfelt tribute, the boat has been named in honour of Principal Mrs Adele Ramsay, acknowledging her unwavering commitment to the Tara community. The name reflects the values of leadership, perseverance, and excellence that define both Mrs Ramsay’s leadership and the spirit of Tara Rowing.
This momentous event was made possible by the generosity and support of our incredible rowing community—parents, coaches, alumnae, and friends—who continue to inspire and encourage our athletes. Their dedication ensures that Tara Rowing remains a place where students develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork, both on and off the water.
We look forward to seeing the Adele Ramsay coxed four in action, carrying Tara rowers to success on the water for years to come.
